We believe in promoting responsible breeding practices. We only recommend breeding pedigreed, healthy, professionally evaluated chinchillas. There is much to consider when breeding chinchillas. Responsibly breeding chinchillas requires research, preparation, and guidance from experienced chinchilla professionals. In our consultations, you will learn whether or not breeding is right for you, how colors and genetics work, which colors of chinchillas are safe to pair and which colors of chinchillas are NOT safe to pair, planning and procedures for the arrival of new babies, appropriate baby-safe caging options, standard health and record keeping practices, and you’ll have the opportunity to dialogue with an experienced chinchilla breeder.
